  Continuity of account management is their weakest point. We get a new account manager about every six months who sends this long introductory email about how awesome they are going to be and how excited they are to have their job. That enthusiasm quickly wanes. I've been with Paychex for about three years and have had five account reps (Amy K, Christina T, Michael H, Nicole C, & Kyle P) We don't get to build any rapport with any of them before they're gone. I have to ask the rep 3-4 times before they get something right which messes with my employees' paychecks. I'm in the midst of this right now - I've given one employee a significant raise and it's now been over two weeks and his pay rate is STILL incorrect. Paychex costs way too much to have to babysit them like I do. 2017 will include a new payroll management company because Paychex is ridiculous. If you're a small business, avoid using Paychex because they just don't really care about you.
