- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I did not book an appointment so arrived at 7:30am. Around 20 people ahead of me, the DMV opens at 8am. At 7:55am one of the DMV staff came out to start handing clipboards and forms to the first few in line - very clever. Once inside, I waited 10 minutes to get into the system. Then 20 minutes to register (State to State move). That took 10 minutes. Then 5 minutes whilst car registration was explained to me. Then 10 minutes to wait for my photo and test. 5 minutes to wait to get my paper license - hard copy in the post in a week. About an hour to cover a fair amount of admin, which I think is pretty good. Staff were proactive, helpful and courteous. Much appreciated.By Jonathan Breeze, July 02, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★My favorite dmv of all places. Drive 30+ min just to come here . The customer service is amazing and they're very quick and actually do their work unlike all the other dmv places I visited all around Sacramento. Went in today and had Christina, she was quick and easy to work with. Amazing at what she does and is very honest.
